Do I need to purchase any new sensors in order to use Kangaroo Complete?

It is not necessary to purchase any new equipment in order to use Kangaroo Complete because the complimentary kit from Hippo Insurance is compatible with Kangaroo Complete. You are able to purchase additional sensors from Kangaroo if you’d like to increase coverage for your home.


What happens after I sign up for Kangaroo Complete?

After Kangaroo upgrades the customer to Kangaroo Complete, Hippo will be notified of the increased level of protection and a discount will be applied to your Hippo policy the next day.

 
 
 
 
Kangaroo is providing professional monitoring service free for the first two weeks to Hippo Insurance customers, starting from when you activate your Kangaroo Complete plan. Thereafter, your credit card on file with Kangaroo will be charged $10/month or $99/year, depending on the plan you select. You must use the same email address as your Hippo account to redeem the two free weeks. You can cancel at any time, but doing so will affect your smart home discount. Also, please know your privacy is important to us. Hippo only monitors activation and device status, not detailed information about alerts or your home.
